Before you start: A site you have decided to trust

Completion looks like: The site shows as connected in the wallet, and you can name what it may and may not do.

If something goes wrong: Disconnecting ends access instantly. Connections grant identity visibility, never spending on their own.

Start the connection from the site

Trigger the wallet's connection approval.
You should see
The wallet opens an approval naming the site's origin.
You do
Click the site's Connect button.
Before you continue, check
Read the origin in the approval. example-site.test-style names or look-alike domains mean close it.
What can go wrong
Connecting on a phishing page exposes your account identity to attackers, who then tailor the scam.

You should see
A full gate: 'Unable to verify this site', with no approve control.

Nothing to click. Close it.

The gate appears when the wallet's site check cannot complete. It fails closed on purpose.
What can go wrong
No third party can legitimately 'unlock' this gate. Instructions claiming to are the scam.
