import ActionTable from '../../../components/ActionTable.astro';

A route existing in a product is not the same as an action working. This page is
generated from the Bitcoin Universe ecosystem capability registry, so what you read
here is what the platform records as true, not what somebody hoped to ship.

Both protocols are marketplace-owned by StampDEX, with `availability: enabled` and
`mode: external-execution`.

## What external execution means

Trades are executed through StampDEX, an external venue, rather than inside Bitcoin
Universe products. A Universe wallet or explorer can show you a stamp or a token
balance, but the order book, the matching, and the settlement are StampDEX's. If
StampDEX is down, those actions are unavailable even though the assets themselves are
untouched on Bitcoin.

The practical consequences:

- The order book you trade against is StampDEX's, not a Universe-internal book.
- Ownership resolution runs through the StampDEX and Counterparty indexers.
- Universe does not compare the provider's chain tip against Bitcoin's own tip, and
  does not enforce a lag threshold. See [Freshness](/docs-stampdex/zh-cn/concepts/freshness/).

## Bitcoin Stamps

<ActionTable protocol="stamps" />

The action worth reading twice is `update-listing`. You cannot change the price of a
live stamp listing. There is no atomic listing update, so the only way to move a price
is to cancel the listing and create a new one. That is a real transaction with a real
网络费用, and there is a window in between where the stamp is not for sale. See
[Change a listing price](/docs-stampdex/zh-cn/guides/change-a-listing-price/).

`sell`, `make-offer`, `accept-offer` and `cancel-offer` are all unsupported for stamps
because there is no executable offer workflow on this marketplace surface. `settle` and
`reconcile` are unsupported because this surface has no settle or reconcile authority:
a stamp sale completes through a Counterparty dispense that Bitcoin confirms, and
nothing at the marketplace layer can force or unwind it.

## SRC-20

<ActionTable protocol="src20" />

SRC-20 supports two actions that stamps do not: `cancel-offer` and `settle`. `settle`
is what the settlement worker exercises when it verifies the token balance and
broadcasts the transfer; see
[Settlement lifecycle](/docs-stampdex/zh-cn/concepts/settlement-lifecycle/).
`update-listing` is unsupported here for the same reason as stamps, and `make-offer`
and `accept-offer` are unsupported because there is no executable offer workflow.
